Job description / Role Job Type Full Time Job Location Abu Dhabi, UAE Nationality Any Nationality Salary Not Specified Gender Not Specified Arabic Fluency Not Specified Job Function IT - Network Administration Company Industry Construction The Office IT Administrator / IT Support is responsible for maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user systems. The role ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations, provides technical support, and maintains system security through effective management of firewalls, VPNs, and related technologies. Key Responsibilities: • Provide day-to-day IT support to office staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment • Manage and maintain company servers (physical and virtual), including monitoring performance, updates, and backups • Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls (e.g., FortiGate, Sophos), VPNs, and security policies • Administer user accounts, email systems, and access permissions • Monitor and maintain office network (LAN/Wi-Fi), internet connectivity, and network security • Troubleshoot system, server, network, and application issues in a timely manner • Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, antivirus protection, and cybersecurity measures are in place • Install and update operating systems, server applications, and enterprise software • Maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, and system documentation • Coordinate with external vendors for IT procurement, AMC, and technical support • Support meeting room IT setup, video conferencing, and presentation systems • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, standards, and security procedures Requirements: Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network administration • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualization • Hands-on experience with firewall configuration (FortiGate, Sophos) and VPN setup • Good understanding of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and network security • Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and server-related issues • Knowledge of backup solutions, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices • Good communication and problem-solving skills About the Company “Sembol Inşaat” Company, which is well-known in Turkey and abroad by its unique construction facilities and breath-taking projects, is a company, which left a mark in Turkey and abroad historically and conducted activities in different places of the world, erected significant creation of architectural art, carried out complex and challenging projects within allocated budget and time limits.
