The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating detailed structural drawings, collaborating with engineers and architects, and contributing to large-scale construction projects. • Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using CAD software in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance of structural designs.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and site requirements to maintain technical precision and project timelines.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design issues and optimize structural integrity.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Supervise and mentor junior draftsmen, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to drafting protocols.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports as required by management. Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Structural Draftsman, preferably with at least 5 years in a senior role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, building codes, and safety regulations applicable in the UAE.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and comprehensive technical drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Experience working on large construction projects in the UAE is a distinct advantage.
