• Electrical & IT (EIT) responsible for managing EPC contractor execution of electrical and IT scopes for a major LNG project. Ensures safe, compliant, and efficient delivery across fabrication, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases in a large-scale fabrication yard environment. Key responsibilities Lead EPC contractor execution of electrical and IT construction activities Oversee fabrication, installation, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning scope Ensure compliance with project engineering standards and technical requirements Review constructability of engineering deliverables and identify issues Monitor contractor progress, performance, and productivity Review progress reports and identify risks, delays, and quality concerns Recommend corrective actions to maintain safety, quality, and schedule targets Manage interfaces between contractor, engineering, and operations teams Ensure HSE and quality compliance across all construction activities Participate in risk assessments, pre-job meetings, and technical reviews Support lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science Minimum 8 years of oil and gas construction experience At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role Strong experience in electrical and IT construction scope Experience in LNG or large-scale fabrication yard projects Knowledge of fabrication, testing, completion, and commissioning processes Understanding of construction standards, codes, and HSE requirements Strong leadership and stakeholder coordination skills Additional information 36-month fixed-term contract 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation 6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day Fabrication yard environment in Sohar, Oman
