• Civil Construction Job Purpose: To manage, control, and maintain all project-related documents for civil construction works, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely distribution in compliance with company standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and manage all incoming and outgoing project documentation (drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, reports, etc.). • Ensure proper document control procedures, numbering, filing, and version control are implemented. • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and site teams for document submission and tracking. • Register, log, and track all technical documents and correspondence. • Ensure timely distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders. • Maintain up-to-date document registers and logs (e.g., submittal logs, drawing registers). • Monitor document status (approved, pending, rejected) and follow up for timely approvals. • Archive project documents systematically for easy retrieval and audit purposes. • Ensure compliance with company document control standards and client requirements. • Assist in preparation and submission of project reports and handover documentation. • Maintain confidentiality and security of all project documentation. Requirements: Key Documents Handled: • RFIs (Requests for Information) • Inspection Requests (IRs) • As-built Drawings Qualifications: • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant field. • Certification in Document Control (preferred). Experience: • Minimum 3–7 years of experience as a Document Controller in civil construction projects. • Experience in EPC / infrastructure / building projects is highly preferred. • Familiarity with GCC project requirements is an advantage.
