Senior Software Engineer

TECH STACK MUST Backend: Python, FastAPI, Pydantic v2 Frontend: React, TypeScript, React Native(Expo) Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, AWS CDK) Integrations: Apex Ascend API, Plaid, Stripe Agentic coding: Cursor Optional: AI/ML: GPT-4, Claude, LangGraph (Yes, we have an agentic AI product.) Optional Future: Golang microservices for performance-critical services REQUIREMENTS 7+ years full-stack development, 2+ years fintech Highly autonomous: owns implementation decisions end-to-end, yet communicates clearly and keeps everyone aligned. Strong hands-on Python, Golang(future), React, Microservices, AWS serverless, API development. System design and architecture experience Experience leading small engineering teams (2-5 engineers) Fast-paced startup experience Must use AI-assisted / agentic development tools (e.g., Cursor or similar) and using them to achieve faster prototyping, refactoring, and test generation while maintaining code quality and architectural consistency Nice to have: Apex Ascend API experience, Golang, React Native, AI/ML integration We’re looking for a senior engineer, who can own and drive complex projects end-to-end. You’ll be responsible for deg and building key product features, coordinating work across functions, and making thoughtful technical tradeoffs with minimal oversight. You should be comfortable taking a loosely defined problem, shaping it into a clear plan, and executing quickly. This is a hands-on technical role. You’ll spend most of your time deg systems and writing code. You thrive in ambiguity, ask XXXX XXXX questions, figure things out independently, and have a strong “get stuff done” mindset without needing much hand-holding.
