Senior Agentic AI Engineer
Description
You are the technical engine behind every client engagement. When onboarding a new client, you design the AI system, build it, maintain it, and scale it over time. You will work directly with the founder to shape architecture decisions, delivery methods, and Rozeta's evolving approach as the AI landscape shifts. This is not a research, prompt engineering, or internal tooling role. You build production AI systems that deliver real business outcomes for actual companies, and you have done it before. As we grow, you will help hire and mentor additional engineers to handle increasing client engagements. Design multi-agent orchestration systems that automate complex end-to-end business workflows. Design and implement Zapier, Make, and n8n automation workflows. Develop RAG pipelines granting AI agents access to client-specific knowledge (pricing, inventory, history, policies). Architect tool-use integrations connecting AI to CRMs, scheduling platforms, and business software via APIs and MCP. Implement human-in-the-loop workflows with deliberate escalation logic and clean handoffs. Create evaluation frameworks that accurately measure system performance and outcomes. Create strategy for future hiring decisions Rozeta Labs is an early-stage AI implementation company for small and mid-market businesses. We design and build custom AI automation systems that solve real operational problems across industries such as home services, professional services, health and wellness, private equity-backed firms, and more. We don’t sell software; we sell outcomes by going inside a client’s operation, identifying where AI creates leverage, building the solution, and ensuring it runs. This foundational role places you alongside the founder on every engagement, shaping how we architect solutions and evolve as AI landscapes shift. You’ll lead the technical engine behind each client engagement, deg, building, maintaining, and expanding production AI systems that drive measurable business results. • 100% remote, async-first work environment with regular EST overlap for collaboration. • Competitive contractor compensation: $4,000

Background in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or client-facing implementation roles. Experience with automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make) in a technical capacity. Familiarity with business software across verticals (CRMs, scheduling tools, EHRs, field service platforms). Experience building and shipping AI products or services, not just internal automation. Strong communication in English; comfortable with US-based founders and clients.
