Creative Advertising Designer
Description
We’re seeking a creative Advertising Designer with a strong eye for aesthetics and a solid portfolio of DTC illustrations and graphics. You should have hands-on experience with graphic and motion design, and a proficient command of the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects). A background in photo or video is a plus but not required. You should bring excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. Study design briefs, brand guidelines, and determine requirements for social media ads. Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and present rough drafts for review. Develop illustrations and motion graphics to be used in advertisements. Collaborate with copywriters and the creative director to finalize designs. Maintain a consistent flow of design assets for the Advertising team across various channels. Deliver high-quality, on-brand visuals optimized for performance in social campaigns. Lucyd is a fully-remote, fast-growing advertising agency that partners with leading wellness brands with socially conscious missions. You will contribute to high-visibility, direct-to-consumer (DTC) campaigns by deg still and motion visuals for paid social ads. Working closely with a strategist, media buyer, and account manager, you’ll translate design briefs and brand guidelines into compelling creative assets that perform in social channels. You’ll help establish a consistent design voice across multiple clients, ensuring timely delivery of creative concepts for testing and optimization. Your work will span cross-channel social formats, including static images, short motion clips, and illustrations that resonate with today’s brands and consumers while maintaining brand integrity. Strong portfolio showcasing direct-to-consumer advertising work, including social media formats and motion graphics. Experience with rapid concept-to-delivery cycles and testing-based creative. Familiarity with CBD/brand-comms considerations is a plus. Proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams and ability to iterate quickly based on feedback. While not required, knowledge of motion design, typography, and color theory will enhance your impact.
