To support our studio, we are looking for an IT Generalist who enjoys being close to the team and keeping the everyday IT fundamentals running smoothly, with room to take on more ownership. This is a hands-on generalist role, ranging from straightforward, day-to-day user support and IT operations to more advanced responsibilities. There is also room to shape and improve how IT works at the studio as we grow. What you will do Own day-to-day IT operations for the studio Provide hands-on user support across hardware, software, and tools Manage hardware and software lifecycle, including purchasing, setup, and maintenance Manage and configure network components such as firewalls and switches Perform physical patching of network connections Perform patching, updates and basic maintenance of servers, storage and infrastructure Maintain and apply security baselines and policies for clients and servers Handle onboarding and offboarding, including equipment, accounts, and access Manage user access, permissions, and basic security practices Act as first line support for IT and security-related issues Maintain clear documentation for systems and processes Coordinate with external IT providers and security vendors when needed Identify and suggest improvements to tools, workflows, and IT setup Security and access responsibilities Own day-to-day access management and security hygiene Ensure devices and accounts follow agreed standards such as MFA, encryption, and updates Respond to common security issues like lost devices or compromised accounts Escalate complex incidents and compliance-related matters to external specialists Help improve security practices and support future compliance work as the studio grows Who you are At least 8 years of experience in an IT support, IT operations, or IT generalist role Comfortable working independently and owning your area Service-minded and patient, with a genuine desire to help others Proactive and self-driven, you spot issues, follow things through, and don’t wait to be asked A practical problem solver who enjoys both quick fixes and long-term improvements An excellent communicator who can explain things clearly and calmly Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise when things pile up Not precious about titles and happy doing both simple and complex tasks Fluent in English Experience we are looking for Experience working and building relationships with external vendors and service providers Experience from a game studio or creative environment is a big plus, but not required Experience working with IT infrastructure, such as servers, storage and networking Currently based in Sweden and able to work on-site What we offer A collaborative and creative studio environment A role with real ownership and trust Freedom under responsibility Competitive salary and benefits
