Game Designer Crusader Kings III
Description
Paradox Interactive Stockholm 118 66 SE As a Crusader Kings III Game Designer, you will work as a generalist developer: deg, implementing, assessing, and refining new features in a live game with a passionate fanbase. You will translate historical research into dynamic systems, perform narrative design and writing, implement features in script, balance game mechanics, and fix bugs. You not only come up with great ideas but take point in bringing them to life, working alongside programmers, artists, UX designers, and QA analysts to make sure the features live up to player expectations. One week in the life of a CK3 Game Designer can look wildly different from the next. You might be crafting one-off narrative events or critical player interactions, balancing opinion modifiers or the economy, researching and scripting hundreds of dynastic lineages and titles, or contributing to design discussions or critical feedback sessions. Our work simultaneously demands a great deal of ownership while being highly collaborative. Our tools are flexible and powerful, but complex. That complexity is made possible by the unique skillsets of the people who craft them.
