JOB SUMMARY Academic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).Professional QualificationsRelevant ICT certifications (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, CISSP, CISA, PMP) are an added advantage.ExperienceMinimum of 8–10 years’ experience in ICT, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven experience in ICT strategy development and implementation.Experience in financial services or microfinance sector is an added advantage.Strong background in ICT governance, cybersecurity, and systems management. RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic LeadershipAdvise the CEO and Senior Management on ICT strategy and infrastructure.Identify and recommend emerging technologies to enhance organizational performance.Participate in leadership and strategic decision-making forums.ICT Strategy, Planning & BudgetingDevelop and implement the ICT strategy aligned to business goals.Prepare and manage the ICT annual budget ensuring cost-effectiveness.Oversee delivery of ICT projects and services across the organization.Lead ICT capacity building and staff training initiatives.ICT Governance, Risk & ComplianceDevelop, implement, and enforce ICT policies, procedures, and standards.Ensure data protection, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Oversee ICT documentation and resource management.ICT Operations & Systems ManagementManage ICT infrastructure, systems, and user support services.Ensure high system availability, reliability, and performance.Supervise and mentor ICT staff.Ensure integrity and accuracy of systems, including loan tracking systems.Other DutiesPerform any other duties as assigned by the CEO.
