JOB SUMMARY Required QualificationsEarned PhD in Nursing from an accredited University.Masters in either Midwifery and Reproductive health Nursing (or Maternal and Neonatal Nursing), Medical and Surgical Nursing, Nursing Education, or Community Health Nursing (or Advanced Practice Community Health Nursing). BSc Nursing from an accredited university in addition to BSc Nursing from an accredited university.A minimum of 24 publication points of which at least 16 should be from refereed journal papersA Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya. RESPONSIBILITIES Teach undergraduate courses.Evaluating students through continuous assessments and examinations.Mentoring of students in academic and spiritual nurtureSupervise graduate students in their research projects and dissertationsConducting high quality research to enhance the scholarship, visibility and intellectual contribution of the University.Engaging in curriculum and program review and developmentMobilizing resources and building bridges with industryImplementing best practices in teaching, training and research for improved performance and achievements.Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired university strategic goals.Role modeling consistent Christian lifestyle in line with the university’s values.
