JOB SUMMARY Skills & QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse, cold storage, or logistics operations. Experience in food or fish handling is an added advantage.Proven experience in team supervision and people management.Familiarity with Kenyan food safety regulations and cold-chain compliance.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management/ERP systems.High attention to detail with accurate record-keeping.Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills.High level of integrity and accountability. RESPONSIBILITIES Receiving & Quality AssuranceSupervise and coordinate all fish received from the processing unit, verify quantities against documentation and ERP entries.Inspecting product quality to ensure compliance with company standards and drive continuous improvement in receiving accuracy and efficiency. Cold Storage & Facility ManagementOversee cold-room operations by maintaining required temperature levels, enforcing strict hygiene standards and ensuring proper stock rotation using FIFO principles to preserve product quality and safety.Dispatch & Logistics CoordinationSupport end-to-end dispatch operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, proper loading, correct delivery documentation (waybills, dispatch notes), and timely deliveries.Team Leadership & Workforce ManagementLead and supervise junior staffs by asg daily tasks, monitoring productivity, maintaining attendance records, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure operational efficiency.Inventory Management & ReportingMaintain accurate records of all inbound, stored, and dispatched productsConduct regular physical counts, reconcile discrepancies, and provide timely daily stock reports to management.Compliance, Safety & Operational SupportEnforce adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.Support implementation of SOPs, identify and report equipment faults, and coordinate with maintenance, processing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
