JOB SUMMARY Knowledge / QualificationsFinancial or audit background with a professional accountancy qualification (such as ACCA, CPA) and a relevant university degree. Minimum of 8 years relevant finance/audit experienceProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience in an FMCG or agri-business environment is an added advantageWorking knowledge of SAP is an added advantage. SkillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to manage relationships and work with managers across all levels within the company and externally.Good influencing skills with ability to interact with all levels of senior management.Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and externally

- able to work independently and maintain level of independence whilst working in partnership with the leaf, operations and finance functions RESPONSIBILITIES Delivery of Agri-business company plan commitmentsProvision of timely and accurate financial management information relating to Leaf, forecast accuracy of leaf costs including blends, working capital and a cause of change for any variancesChallenging status quo on potential productivity savings opportunities including participation in loss analysis and ideas generating forumsProactive management and accurate reporting of losses including early warnings of potential risksEnsure appropriate treatment of import duties, levies and costs relating to leafLiaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.Accurate cashflow and working capital management of Leaf related inputsDrive the control environment on asset and inventory management.Drive compliance to internal controls and engage the Leaf and GLT team to inspire a culture of continuous improvement including driving a controls cultureExternal relationship engagement to gain insights and leverage to achieve deliverables and support our business interests.
