ABOUT THE COMPANY Maseno University founded in 1991, is the only university on the globe that lies along the Equator (00). It is one of the seven public universities in Kenya. The University is located in Maseno Township along Kisumu-Busia road, 25 km from Kisumu City and approximately 400 km west of Nairobi the capital city of Kenya. The University also shares its boundaries with Vihiga and Kisumu County. JOB SUMMARY  Bachelor's Degree in Education, Linguistics, Communication, or related field; At least Three (3) years relevant work experience in academic or publishing/editingenvironment; Excellent command of English language and strong editorial skills; and Familiarity with eLearning instructional design principles will be an added advantage. RESPONSIBILITIES  Edit and proofread instructional materials for clarity, accuracy, grammar and academic standards;  Ensure consistency and alignment of content with course objectives and university guidelines;  Work closely with faculty and instructional designers to enhance quality of learning materials;  Review course content for compliance with copyright and plagiarism policies; and  Maintain editorial standards across all eCampus-produced materials.
