JOB SUMMARY QualificationsDegree or diploma in medical laboratory sciences from a recognized universityRegistered and licensed by the KMLTTBCompleted at least a six (6) internship from a level 6 hospitalProgressive work experience of between 2-3 years in a busy laboratoryComputer LiteracyHave training  in quality management systems (QMS), specifically ISO 15189:2022 and awarded with a certificate RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct routine medical examination to the staff members as guided by the clinical OfficerEnsure provision of quality and reliable medical laboratory servicesEnsure adequate maintenance of laboratory equipment by facilitating scheduled servicing and planned preventive maintenance(PPM)Act as the liason officer in matters pertaining to the running of the medical laboratoryEnsure that all medical laboratory equipment are adequately calibratedEnsure that the laboratory maintains the operational standards as guided by the KMLTTBEnsure availability of laboratory reagents and consumablesEnsure safety of patients and clients when in the laboratory REQUIRED SKILLS Patient care, Medicine, Medication and prescription administration, Public health, Laboratory operation REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor's degree
