Integration / API Tester – Core Banking (T24/Temenos)

JOB SUMMARY The Integration/API Tester is responsible for validating integrations between the core banking system (T24/Temenos) and surrounding systems such as mobile banking, internet banking, payment gateways, and third-party services. The role ensures seamless, secure, and accurate data exchange across all integrated platforms.Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field3–6 years’ experience in API/Integration testing within banking systemsHands-on experience with T24/Temenos integrationsStrong understanding of REST/SOAP APIsExperience with Postman or SoapUIKnowledge of JSON, XML, and message validationUnderstanding of banking transaction flowsBasic SQL skills RESPONSIBILITIES Design and execute integration and API test cases for T24 interfacesValidate APIs supporting channels such as mobile banking, agency banking, and internet bankingPerform end-to-end testing of transactions across systemsValidate ISO 8583 / ISO 20022 message formats where applicableTest integrations with payment switches, middleware, and third-party systemsAnalyze API documentation and derive comprehensive test scenariosPerform data validation between T24 and interfacing systemsIdentify, log, and track defectsSupport SIT and pre-UAT phasesCollaborate with developers, business analysts, and vendors REQUIRED SKILLS Programming, Application programming interfaces (API), Database administration REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor's degree
