Our vision is to be the leading and most preferred milling company embracing modern technology in Southern Sahara JOB SUMMARY To drive revenue growth and expand market share for the company’s maize products by developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and building strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and institutional clients. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and implement a sales plan aligned with the company’s production and revenue goals.Identify target markets and develop strategies for penetration and expansion.Forecast demand and sales volumes in collaboration with the production and logistics teams.Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.2. Team ManagementLead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and recommend training or support where needed.3. Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners (distributors, supermarkets, bulk buyers, etc.).Ensure high customer satisfaction and quick resolution of client complaints.4. Market Development & IntelligenceConduct regular market visits to assess product availability, pricing, competitor activity, and customer preferences.Share insights with management to inform product development and pricing strategies.5. Sales Reporting & AnalysisPrepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and forecasts.Monitor sales budgets, profitability, and return on investment for campaigns and initiatives.6. Brand and Product PromotionCollaborate with marketing to execute product awareness campaigns, promotions, and merchandising strategies in retail and wholesale outlets.7. Logistics and Distribution Coordination Work with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure smooth product delivery.Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure there is proper stock level to meet market demand8. Debt collection and Credit ManagementMonitor customer credit limits and ensure timely collections.Work with finance team to minimize bad debts.Enforce company credit policies among clients.
