JOB SUMMARY Requirements7–10+ years experience in warehouse or logistics operationsProven experience operationalising or reorganising warehouse environmentsStrong inventory management and stock control background with demonstrated ability to improve inventory accuracy and process disciplineExperience working within ERP or WMS-enabled systemsStrong analytical skillsExperience with 3PLs, bonded warehouses, or regulated environments a plus RESPONSIBILITIES Design & LayoutDevelop efficient warehouse layouts, optimize space utilization, and specify racking/material handling equipment to maximize through put and safety.Process & Systems ImplementationDevelop comprehensive SOPs for all warehouse functions; implement inventory control systems including bin locations, barcode integration, and cycle counting protocols.Establish end-to-end processes for inbound receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure inventory accuracy and real-time visibility.Operations & ExecutionLead initial stock migration and cutover from legacy systems with zero stock loss.Drive operational excellence through strict housekeeping, 5S implementation, and safety compliance (OSH Act Kenya); collaborate closely with Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams.Performance Management & Continuous ImprovementTrack and report on warehouse KPIs (OTIF, inventory shrinkage, pick accuracy, space utilization).Proactively identify bottlenecks, risks, and cost-saving opportunities; lead Kaizen/Lean initiatives to drive year-on-year performance improvements.
