ABOUT THE COMPANY The Co-operative Bank of Kenya Limited is incorporated in Kenya under the Company Act and is also licensed to do the business of banking under the Banking Act. The Bank was initially registered under the Co-operative Societies Act at the point of founding in 1965. This status was retained up to and until June 27th 2008 when the Bank's Special General Meeting resolved to incorporate under the Companies Act with a view to complying with the requirements for listing on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE). JOB SUMMARY Qualifications: –Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with experience ideally in a leading organization, with a proven track record in marketing & relationship management.A Master’s Degree or relevant post graduate diploma will be an added advantage.Working knowledge (not less than 2 years) of Banking, donor relations, proposal writing and/or general business/will be added advantage.Strong conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills with ability to influence and negotiate at different levels.Excellent sales and presentation skills with strong business acumen. RESPONSIBILITIES Market to and onboard local & International NGOS (INGOs)Assist in seeking and mobilizing deposits from development partners/clients and the International NGOsAssist in scoping business levels with clear wallet sizes of all partnerships.Write proposals and tenders to NGOs and Donor for banking business including CIT and consultancy services.Provide capacity building to Co-operatives, pre-Co-operatives, associations and other self-help groups to enhance social-economic development of the people through wealth creation by working collaboratively with development partners/donors such as NGOs to directly impact agriculture, farmers and Co-operatives.Act as a liaison between the bank, donors/development partners and Other private sector players.Coordinate, implement, and monitor donor projects.Provide leadership and relationship management to the bank’s NGO business by managing the NGOs portfolio and working with other business units for the growth of this business sector.
