ABOUT THE COMPANY Oasis Healthcare Group Limited was conceptualized out of the need to harmonize the various companies and facilities existing across the country under the Oasis umbrella that have been in existence since 2010. In the wisdom of the founder members of all these outfits, there was need to synchronize the strategic direction, standard operating procedures, business processes, expansion programmes, style, systems and shared values among others. This was compounded by the need to have a centralized control or ‘command’ and harness on opportunities in the local as well as global arena through product differentiation and diversification together with capital sourcing. OHGL subsidiaries are made up of skilled and dedicated health specialists, professionals, support staff, volunteers and physicians who promote wellness, prevent disease and injury, and provide healthcare every day to a diverse population in Kenya, especially those living in urban centres. OHGL is Kenya’s first and largest countrywide, fully-integrated private health system. The creation of OHGL supports consistent access to health services and standards and better coordination of services across the Kenya and beyond. JOB SUMMARY Job Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.At least CPA Part IIMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a healthcare or institutional setting preferred.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance.Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards and healthcare financial regulations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management.Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate statutory remittances (PAYE, NSSF, SHIF/NHIF, Housing Levy, etc.).Support budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.Strengthen internal controls to prevent fraud, financial leakage, and misappropriation of funds.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.Support internal and external audits and implement corrective action plans.Monitor departmental expenditure against approved budgets.Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.Provide financial data to support strategic planning and resource allocation.Assist in procurement, financial verification, and supplier payment validation.Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives in line with SafeCare accreditation standards.
