Learn more at www.fixahr.comAbout the RoleWe’re looking to hire a Data Scientist will be responsible for turning Fixa’s growing data assets into actionable insights, predictive models, and decision frameworks that power lending, risk management, growth, and operational efficiency.Location & Work Model Disclaimer:This is a primarily remote role, candidates, however, must be willing to spend multiple extended periods on the ground each year working closely with local teams, partners, and leadership, as in-market presence is critical to execution and context. RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain models for credit risk, fraud detection, user behavior, and portfolio performancePartner with Product, Finance, and Engineering to embed data into decision-makingDefine and track core business, risk, and growth metricsDesign experiments and analyses to improve unit economics and customer outcomesEnsure data quality, governance, and scalable analytics infrastructureMentor junior analysts and help establish data best practicesRequired Experience & Profile5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied machine learningStrong background in fintech, lending, payments, or financial risk modeling preferredExperience working with large datasets and production-level data pipelinesAbility to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholdersExperience supporting scale-phase decision-making in high-growth environmentsSuccess IndicatorsReliable, explainable models that improve risk and profitabilityClear dashboards and metrics actively used by leadershipFaster, better-informed decisions across product and financeStrong data culture embedded in the organization REQUIRED SKILLS Data engineering, Data visualization, Analytics, Financial analysis, Data analysis, Big data and data analytics, Data models and architectures, Data science REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor's degree
