Workday Payroll Lead

Job Title: Workday Payroll Lead Location: London Start Date: April Job Type: Contract - Inside IR35 Our client is seeking a Workday Payroll Lead Consultant to drive solution design, delivery, and stakeholder engagement for complex Workday Payroll implementations. The role requires deep functional expertise, leadership experience, and a strong understanding of UK payroll compliance and change management. Key Responsibilities Design and architect Workday Payroll solutions and end-to-end payroll processes. Act as the Workday Payroll subject matter expert, ensuring best practice design and configuration. Lead and deliver Workday Payroll implementations (minimum of three end-to-end). Manage change management activities including training, stakeholder communications, and organisational readiness. Oversee adherence to UK legal and compliance standards. Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships, influencing across multiple levels. Manage small to medium project teams, providing direction and mentorship. Experience & Skills Workday UK Payroll Certified (essential). Minimum of 3 full-cycle Workday Payroll implementations. Strong experience in solution design, delivery, and stakeholder management.
