Senior Network/SD-WAN Consultant (Barracuda SecureEdge) Near Manchester (Onsite - Weekend Deployment) Estimated Duration: ~5-10 days total (incl. prep + deployment + support) Rate: Outside IR35 - rate negotiable IT Consultancy require a Consultant to assist them with a Barracuda SecureEdge implementation for a small retail client (<200 users and 2 sites). This is following up an initial failed deployment. The client attempted to deploy: HA Firewall stack across 2 sites SD-WAN between sites Remote access (VPN/ZTNA) Despite following vendor guidance and engaging with Barracuda Networks, HA/failover testing failed, resulting in rollback to their previous Cisco Firepower environment.They now require a senior consultant to review, redesign (if needed), and successfully deliver a clean deployment. Scope/Deliverables: Review existing design, configs, and SOW Diagnose root cause of failed HA/failover Validate or redesign SecureEdge architecture Implement: HA Firewall stack (2 sites) SD-WAN connectivity between sites Remote access solution (VPN or ZTNA) Support weekend cutover (onsite)

• Potentially some post-deployment stabilisation + knowledge transfer Key Requirements: Strong experience with: SD-WAN/SASE deployments Firewall HA and failover design Onsite cutovers and troubleshooting Ideally hands-on with Barracuda SecureEdge OR strong adjacent experience: Cisco (Firepower/SD-WAN) Fortinet/Palo Alto/similar Ability to operate independently without vendor reliance Comfortable in recovery/remediation scenarios Engagement Structure: Initial scoping call (~2 hours) Remote validation/prep Onsite deployment (weekend - Manchester area) Short post-go-live support Targeting 11th/12th for implementation
