SAP FICO Consultant

SAP FICO Consultant Hybrid-Lisbon €300-€325 Freelance contract until end of 2026, with 6-month renewals from 2027, 3 days on-site, 2 days remote Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join a dynamic IT team supporting business-critical systems. This role combines project work and application support, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality SAP Finance and Controlling solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external partners to design, implement, and support SAP solutions that drive efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities Configure and develop solutions in SAP FI/CO and related components Support the design and implementation of application solutions aligned with business needs Analyse functional requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions Produce and maintain high-quality technical and functional documentation Participate in testing activities (planning, execution, validation) Provide ongoing application support and troubleshoot incidents Collaborate with outsourcing partners to resolve issues and manage change requests Ensure the quality and consistency of deliverables across projects Contribute to IT strategy, architecture, and development standards Plan and support change management activities, including user communication and training Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency Promote best practices in security, health, and safety Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with SAP FI/CO modules Experience in SAP configuration and implementation projects Ability to analyse business requirements and design functional solutions Experience with testing, support, and incident resolution Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Nice to Have Knowledge of SWIFT Experience with Blue Prism Experience with SAP RE (Real Estate module) Language Requirements English: Professional working proficiency Portuguese: Preferred What We Offer Hybrid working model Opportunity to work on impactful SAP projects Collaborative and international environment Long-term contract with extension opportunities
