Reliability Engineer /Consultant (2 Week Mandate) Duration: 2 weeks (consulting workshops) Engagement: Short-term mandate Environment: Kubernetes-based product Start: ASAP About the Role Our client is enhancing a Kubernetes-based software product to meet enterprise?level reliability and operability standards. To support this, we are looking for an experienced Reliability Engineer / SRE Consultant to review current requirements, identify gaps, and provide expert guidance on what metrics, KPIs, and observability features an enterprise operator needs for 24/7 operations. This is a strategic advisory assignment, not an operational role. Responsibilities

• Review current reliability & operational requirements
• Assess the application's readiness for enterprise-scale and always-on operations
• Define missing KPIs, metrics, and observability needs
• Provide best practices for scaling, monitoring, alerting, and operability
• Lead workshops with the engineering team
• Deliver a prioritized list of recommendations and next steps

Profile

• Senior Reliability/SRE Engineer or Senior Software Architect
• Strong experience with distributed systems and enterprise operations
• Deep knowledge of KPIs, metrics, scaling, performance, and observability
• Good understanding of Kubernetes environments (hands-on admin not required)
• Excellent communication skills for workshops and consulting

• Final deliverable: prioritized reliability/operability requirements for enterprise readiness
