Platform Solution Architect

• " Platform Solution Architect" Project duration: 18.05.2026 - 31.04.2031 Extension option: Yes Workload: 80- 100% Remote share: 40% German requirement: B1 minimum (mandatory) Project Description The architect will design, document, and govern modern platform architectures, with a strong focus on PaaS, system modernization, technical governance, and large-system integration. Tasks

• Design and document large-scale IT system architectures

• Define and plan transition architectures for modernization programs

• Architect PaaS?based platform solutions

• Ensure architecture governance for systems with >15 FTE or >5M CHF budgets

• Define security architecture, integration patterns, and deployment models

• Evaluate technical risks, quality, and compliance

• Support engineering teams, product owners, and security teams

• Communicate architecture decisions to stakeholders

• Review architecture deliverables and ensure consistent documentation

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years' experience in large solution architecture
• Strong PaaS architecture background
• Experience with architecture governance, ISDS, IKT security
• Expertise in synchronous integration (SOAP, REST, gRPC, SEDEX)
• Expertise in asynchronous integration (Kafka, AsyncAPI, Schema Registry, JMS/MQ)
• Deep knowledge of Microservice deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD)
• Strong communication and assessment experience
• German B1 or higher

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in DWH architectures
• Public administration project experience
• CI/CD (ArgoCD, GitOps)
• Cost modelling and platform sizing
