Senior Medical Billing Team Lead

Budget: $15 - $25/hr

I need a seasoned medical billing professional who can step in as my team leader and keep our revenue cycle on track. Day to day you will guide a small group of AR analysts while still rolling up your sleeves to handle the critical tasks yourself. In our Cerner environment you should feel completely at home—speed, accuracy, and deep functional knowledge of the platform are essential.

Core responsibilities • Managing claims and denials from submission through resolution • Performing precise data entry for all billing activity • Posting payments, reconciling discrepancies, and generating clear reports for leadership review

Solid leadership experience is just as important as technical skill. You will coach staff, set performance benchmarks, and refine existing workflows so we reduce re-work and bring down our average days in A/R.

Deliverables I expect • Daily dashboard of claim status and denial trends • Clean, reconciled payment batches posted within agreed turnaround times • Weekly process-improvement recommendations backed by data from Cerner reports
