Budget: $15 - $25/hr

I run a small portfolio of ten WordPress sites and have reached the point where I can’t give them the attention they need. Around ten hours a week are available and I’d like to build a long-term, hourly relationship with someone who can step in, keep things running smoothly, and spot trouble before it shows up.

The work you’ll touch most often is content updates and general site management, but right now we’re also digging out from a recent hack, so security cleanup and tightening are high on the list. Typical tasks include: • Cleaning up existing issues left by the intrusion

• removing leftover malware, junk files, and spam content • Setting up Google Analytics where it’s missing and verifying tracking codes • Deleting outdated DNS entries and old verification files that are no longer needed • Hunting for broken links or other weaknesses that invite exploits • Rolling out core, theme and plugin updates, then testing to be sure nothing breaks
