MapInfo Infrastructure GIS Mapping

Budget: ₹750 - ₹1250/hr

I have a collection of infrastructure-related spatial datasets that need to be organised, analysed and presented in MapInfo. The immediate goal is to turn the raw files into clear, publication-ready heat maps and topographic maps while extracting some basic spatial insights (e.g., proximity and coverage statistics).

Scope of work • Import and tidy the infrastructure layers I’ll provide (TAB, SHP and CSV formats). • Build a MapInfo workspace that keeps every table properly styled and projected. • Generate two map series:

• Heat maps highlighting intensity or density of the assets.
• Topographic maps that retain terrain detail and clear symbology. • Run light analysis to summarise patterns I outline once you see the data. • Package everything so I can reopen, edit and print the maps without missing links.

Deliverables • MapInfo workspace (.wor) with linked tables. • Final map layouts in both PDF (300 dpi) and PNG. • Exported layers in SHP or GeoPackage, with metadata. • One-page note summarising analysis steps and key findings.

Acceptance criteria The maps must draw correctly on any clean MapInfo install, match the colour ramps we agree on, and be delivered by the date we set at project start. Accuracy in layer alignment and legends is essential; I will spot-check coordinates and attribute fields.
