My adult-market fiction manuscript is finally finished—230 pages of polished storytelling that now needs a meticulous last pass. I’m looking for a proofreader to catch spelling slips, punctuation glitches, and any lingering grammatical hiccups before I move to layout and publication. No restructuring or line polishing is required; the story, voice, and pacing are already locked.

The draft is in Microsoft Word, so please be comfortable using Track Changes (or suggest an equally transparent alternative). I’d like you to:

• mark every alteration so I can accept or reject each change easily • flag anything ambiguous or inconsistent in a short query/comment • provide a concise style sheet noting recurring decisions (e.g., hyphenation, numerals, character names)

Turnaround of roughly 10 calendar days suits my schedule, but let me know if you can improve on that without rushing the quality. Discretion is essential, and a brief sample of previous fiction proofs—or a quick 500-word test on request—will help me choose confidently.
