Full-Stack Multi-Platform Application Development for Smart Inventory System

I’m building a production-ready Smart Inventory Management System that must feel seamless whether it’s opened in a browser, a mobile app, or on a tiny embedded board sitting in a warehouse aisle. The core backend will be a Python/Django service running in the cloud, fully containerised so it can be shipped through Docker (and orchestrated later in Kubernetes or similar). For the web front end I want a modern React interface; on mobile, the same design language should carry over—React Native is an obvious choice but I’m open to whatever lets us share logic without compromising the UX.

The system has to expose clean REST (and ideally WebSocket) endpoints for our embedded devices, which may be Raspberry Pi-class hardware or custom boards. Those devices will report stock changes, receive firmware-level updates, and sync when connectivity is spotty, so an offline-first data strategy matters.

What I expect you to deliver • Django codebase with test coverage, migrations, and an admin section for quick data tweaks. • Container files (Dockerfile, docker-compose) plus deploy scripts for a cloud platform of your choice. • Responsive React web dashboard covering inventory views, search, alerts, and user management. • Cross-platform mobile app compiled for iOS and Android with barcode/QR scanning and push notifications. • Lightweight embedded client/service able to hit the same API, log locally, and auto-update. • CI/CD pipeline definition and minimal documentation so my internal team can extend the project after hand-over.
