CNC programmer & Shift Lead
Description
Budget: ₹600 - ₹1500
I run a metal-working plant in Bangalore that relies heavily on CBC machines for precision cutting. What I need now is an expert who can step straight in, write the machine code, set up every job accurately, and then stay on the floor as the shift in-charge to keep production flowing.
Your core focus will be programming and complete set-up of our CBC cutting line: selecting the right tools, entering or adjusting code, loading it, running first-off pieces, and fine-tuning until the dimensions land exactly on spec. Once production is underway, you will manage the shift—coordinating operators, monitoring quality, responding to any alarms or deviations, and logging the run data so the next shift can pick up smoothly.
Because every batch is metal cutting and tolerances are tight, experience with CBC or comparable CNC controls is essential. If you can read mechanical drawings, think ahead about fixturing, and solve issues on the fly without halting the line, you will fit right in.
Deliverables I will measure you on: • Verified programs ready for each work order, saved to our central repository • Machines fully set up and producing first-article parts that pass inspection • A concise end-of-shift report noting output, downtime, and any corrective actions
Work happens onsite at our Bangalore plant; local availability is therefore required.
