Realistic Zombie Character Makeover

Deadline: 2026-04-10
Project-Based

Description

Budget: $10 - $300

I already have a fully modelled human character; what I need now is a skilled 3D artist who can transform that existing asset into a convincing, realistic zombie inspired primarily by Resident Evil. I want the result to evoke the same gritty, unsettling feel you see in that franchise—decaying but still grounded in believable anatomy and texturing.

Scope of the makeover • Skin texture: Can you make his skin look slimy and wet? • Facial features: i want a gaunt, undead look, and retain the original likeness enough that the transformation feels like a fallen version of the same person. • Clothing & accessories: distress, tear and grime up the garments, introducing, dirt and environmental wear that match the new body material.

I will supply:

  • The current clean model (blend file).
  • zip file with instructions.

Please provide:

  1. Updated high-resolution textures (4K preferred) for all changed materials.
  2. The modified geometry in the same file format, preserving existing rig and UVs.
  3. A blende file of any additional props you create.
  4. A few beauty renders that showcase the final zombie under neutral studio lighting.

Tooling is flexible—Substance Painter, ZBrush, Maya, Blender, Marmoset, Unreal, etc.—as long as the output drops cleanly into my current Blender pipeline.

When you respond, link me to at least one piece from your portfolio that demonstrate realistic creature or undead work. If you have anything explicitly Resident Evil-inspired, that will move your proposal straight to the top of my shortlist.

I’m ready to start as soon as I see the right portfolio, and I’ll turn around feedback quickly so we can wrap this conversion efficiently.
