Remote Senior AI Developer Required

Role Overview We are looking for a Senior AI Developer to join IzzyAgents on a contract basis, serving as the technical backbone of our delivery operation. You will work directly with the CEO and Head of Operations, owning the technical execution of AI solutions across our client base. While the CEO leads commercial identification and client relationships, you are the person who answers how we deliver, ensuring every solution is technically sound, scalable, and built to a high standard.

You will work alongside our Philippine-based AI Developer, who handles the majority of day-to-day development. Your role is to guide that work, step in for critical execution, and keep the overall technical quality of our output where it needs to be.

You will receive a structured handover from our current Senior AI Developer to get up to speed on existing systems and delivery processes, and they will remain available for support during the transition period. There is real room to grow with us. As IzzyAgents expands, this role has the potential to evolve significantly alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of AI solutions across client projects and AI Department retainers.
• Support the CEO in pre-sales conversations, providing technical input and validating how solutions will be delivered.
• Guide and review the work of our Philippine-based AI Developer, stepping in for complex problems, critical fixes, and key updates as needed.
• Stay current with the latest developments in AI, LLMs, and tooling, and bring relevant opportunities or risks to the team's attention.
• Identify technical approaches and tooling that improve how we deliver across the board.
• Participate in client-facing meetings on an ad hoc basis, representing IzzyAgents with credibility and clarity.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong, hands-on experience in applied AI development.
• Proficiency with Claude Code is non-negotiable.
• Solid knowledge of LLM APIs, including Anthropic and OpenAI.
• Experience building and working with RAG pipelines and vector databases.
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Experience with API and webhook integrations.
• Confident in client-facing meetings, able to answer technical questions clearly and credibly, including with security and compliance teams.
• Proactive, self-managing, and reliable in a remote, async-first environment.
