Fix LAN Connectivity and Speed

Deadline: 2026-04-07
Project-Based

Description

Budget: €18 - €36/hr

I need an experienced network engineer to dive into our office LAN and eliminate three persistent issues: connectivity drop-outs, sluggish throughput, and random disconnections that appear without warning. The cabling, switches, and routers are already in place, but the network has become unreliable and productivity is suffering.

Your job is to identify the root causes—whether configuration errors, faulty hardware, congestion, or cabling faults—and implement corrective actions that bring the LAN back to stable, high-speed operation. Packet captures, switch diagnostics, or in-line monitoring are all fair game; whatever tools you’re most comfortable with (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Cisco IOS CLI, etc.) are welcome as long as they get us to a verified solution.

Deliverables: • Detailed diagnostic report outlining each problem and evidence of its cause • Step-by-step remediation plan and the configuration changes or hardware fixes applied • Final post-fix verification results showing restored connectivity, consistent speeds, and zero unexpected drops • A short set of prevention recommendations so we don’t land in the same situation again

I’ll provide remote access or on-site coordination as needed, plus any device credentials once we kick off. Let me know your estimated timeline to complete the assessment and repair, and feel free to ask XXXX XXXX additional network details you require.
