Avaya & Nortel Legacy Support
Description
Budget: €12 - €18/hr
I look after several ageing voice platforms—old Avaya systems, Nortel CS1k, and early Aura releases—and I need a seasoned technician I can call on for remote help. Most requests revolve around voice communication: clearing alarms, finding the root cause of dropped or one-way calls, or making quick configuration changes such as adding trunks, tweaking COR/FRL, or updating routing tables.
Whenever an issue pops up I will give you VPN access, maintenance terminals (ASA, CLI, Element Manager), and the latest logs or screen captures. Your role is to jump in, diagnose the fault, apply the fix we agree on, and verify that voice traffic is clean again.
Deliverables • All configuration changes implemented and tested with test calls • Brief written summary of actions, commands, and follow-up advice delivered within 24 hours
Acceptance criteria: no outstanding alarms, successful test calls over the affected routes, and the summary report in my inbox. If you know these platforms inside-out and enjoy keeping legacy gear alive, I’d like to work with you on an as-needed basis.
