Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Tenant Relations and Leasing Coordinator who is fluent in both Spanish and English. This individual will be responsible for screening, interviewing, and managing tenant inquiries, handling maintenance requests, and ensuring a smooth leasing process with high tenant satisfaction. Working within the Eastern Standard Time frame, the coordinator will be our main point of contact for prospective and current tenants, providing exceptional service and clear communication at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Screening and Interviewing: Conduct thorough screenings and interviews of potential tenants, including background checks, credit assessments, and verification of rental history.
- Leasing Process Management: Guide prospective tenants through the leasing process, from initial inquiry to lease g, ensuring all steps are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Bilingual Communication: Effectively communicate in both Spanish and English to cater to diverse tenant needs, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing clear and accurate information.
- Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary contact for current tenants, addressing inquiries and coordinating solutions to any issues that arise during tenancy.
- Maintenance Requests: Receive, prioritize, and document maintenance requests from tenants, coordinating with maintenance staff or third-party vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of tenant interactions, application status, maintenance requests, and lease agreements.
- Schedule Coordination: Manage and arrange property showings, move-in inspections, move-out walkthroughs, and maintenance appointments, working closely with property managers and other team members as needed.
- Conflict Resolution: Proactively resolve tenant issues and disputes, ensuring high tenant satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Experience in Tenant Relations: Prior experience in property management, tenant relations, or leasing is highly preferred.
- Screening Expertise: Knowledge of tenant screening processes, including familiarity with background and credit check protocols.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, with a commitment to providing a positive tenant experience.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and tenants’ needs simultaneously.
- Availability: Able to work within the Eastern Standard Time frame to coordinate with tenants and team members.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with property management
- Basic understanding of fair housing regulations and tenant rights
- Experience with maintenance request management
- Proficiency in Excel and other helpful tools
Payment:
- Based on the time availability and completion of task, we will decide whether part time or full time would work.
