Job Title: Dog Grooming Booking Platform Developer (Scalable SaaS | Franchise-Ready) Job Description: We are building a premium dog grooming and wellness brand and are looking for an experienced developer or team to create a custom booking and business management platform. This is not a basic scheduling tool. We need a robust, scalable system comparable to Gingr and Onyva, built with long-term growth in mind as we expand into a multi-unit and franchise model. Core Requirement: Franchise-Ready Infrastructure (Critical) This platform must be built to scale from a single location to dozens and eventually hundreds of franchise locations. Must include: Multi-location architecture with centralized oversight Franchisee-level dashboards with restricted access Corporate-level reporting across all locations Ability to standardize services, pricing structures, and memberships across locations Location-specific customization where needed Scalable cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or equivalent) Performance optimized for high user volume across multiple markets Scope of Work:

  1. Booking & Scheduling Client self-booking (mobile + desktop) Staff scheduling and availability management Service selection with add-ons Automated confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups Waitlist + cancellation management
  2. Client & Pet Profiles Detailed pet profiles (breed, coat, behavior, health notes) Appointment history and service tracking Memberships and package tracking Saved preferences and notes
  3. Business Operations POS integration or built-in payments Membership billing and recurring revenue tracking Commission and tip tracking for groomers Multi-location support (franchise structure)
  4. Reporting & Analytics (High Priority) Revenue tracking by location and system-wide Service and package performance Staff productivity and utilization Membership metrics (LTV, churn, retention) Custom reports with export capability
  5. User Experience Clean, modern, premium UI aligned with a high-end brand Fast, frictionless booking experience Simple onboarding for staff and clients
  6. Admin + Franchise Dashboard Role-based permissions (corporate, franchisee, manager, staff) Centralized control panel for brand-wide decisions Marketing integrations (email/SMS campaigns) Ability to push updates, pricing, and services across all locations Ideal Candidate: Proven experience building scalable SaaS platforms Experience with multi-location or franchise systems Strong UI/UX focus Thinks in systems and workflows, not just features Experience with third-party integrations (payments, SMS, CRM) Bonus: Experience in pet, wellness, or service-based industries AI features (smart scheduling, automated rebooking, predictive insights) Mobile app development Project Type: Initial build with long-term partnership potential as we scale nationally.
