2.4 Ghz Drone Detector with Audio, Visual Alarm

Deadline: 2026-04-07
Project-Based

Description

Budget: ₹37500 - ₹75000

I need a hands-on hardware specialist who can deliver a fully functioning prototype that listens on the 2.4 GHz band, recognises drone control traffic, and triggers a loud audible alarm the moment a signal is confirmed.

My preference is to base the build around a Raspberry Pi so the final unit is compact, low-power, and easily re-programmable. You are free to pair the Pi with SDR modules, band-pass filters, custom antennas or any other RF front-end you feel is best—as long as the result accurately distinguishes drone links from ordinary Wi-Fi chatter and alerts in near-real-time.

What I expect from you: • A physical, bench-tested model shipped to me, complete with enclosure and speaker for the alarm. • All Python (or other) source code, commented, plus any configuration files required to run the detector on a fresh Raspberry Pi OS install. • A concise build guide listing components, wiring, and calibration steps so I can reproduce or scale the system. • A short demonstration video proving successful detection of an actual or simulated 2.4 GHz drone signal.

When you respond, include a detailed project proposal outlining your detection approach, key components, milestones, and estimated timeline so I can see exactly how you plan to tackle interference rejection and false-positive control. I’m ready to move quickly once the plan is clear.
