Azure AI Engineer (LangChain, Azure OpenAI, AI Search) – Part-Time Support

I’m expanding an enterprise-grade AI platform on Azure and need an engineer who already feels at home with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure AI Search. Right now vector search is the clear priority, though the solution must stay flexible enough to layer in hybrid or semantic techniques later on.

Your main mission is to shape and maintain an advanced, agentic system built with LangChain and LangGraph. An Agent Orchestrator will sit at the heart of it, complete with policy-driven guardrails, robust retry mechanisms, and clear tracing so we can explain every decision the agents make. You’ll wire this into our existing Azure DevOps setup—Repos, Pipelines, and Wiki—for seamless CI/CD, and keep the codebase production-ready through thoughtful testing and documentation.

If you’ve previously connected Azure Bot Service to Microsoft Teams or explored Microsoft 365 Copilot, that experience will come in handy because conversational entry points are on the roadmap.

Deliverables I’m expecting: • A working Agent Orchestrator built with LangChain + LangGraph, enforcing guardrails and retries • End-to-end vector search pipeline in Azure AI Search, including indexers and skillsets • CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps that deploy the entire stack automatically • Clear README-style documentation so another engineer can spin the system up from scratch
