Workday Finance PO Test Suite

Deadline: 2026-04-07
Project-Based

Description

Budget: ₹100 - ₹400/hr

I’m expanding the automated quality checks around our Workday Finance Purchase Order flow and need a senior-level Java developer to build a reliable test suite. The focus is squarely on both receipt adjustments and service line scenarios, so deep familiarity with those Workday modules will make you productive from day one.

Here’s the outcome I’m after: a complete set of unit and system tests that exercise every branch of the PO logic, catch regressions early, and slot cleanly into our existing CI pipeline. I expect the unit layer to be written in pure Java (JUnit or TestNG) with sensible mocking, while the system layer should drive Workday through its public web services or another proven approach to validate end-to-end behaviour.

I’ll give you access to a dedicated sandbox, sample PO data, and our existing helper classes. You’ll return:

• Well-structured unit tests covering core PO utilities and edge cases • System tests that set up test data, trigger the receipt adjustment / service line paths, and verify the resulting state in Workday • A coverage report (target ≥ 90 % on the touched code) and a short run-book so any team member can execute the suite in one command

The work is complete when the tests pass green in our GitHub Actions workflow and detect an intentionally injected defect during review. If you thrive on clean code and bullet-proof automation, let’s talk.
