Google Ads & Merchant Center Specialist

Deadline: 2026-04-07
Project-Based

Description

Budget: $15 - $25/hr

I'm looking for a Google Ads specialist for ongoing account maintenance, search term analysis, and structural optimisations. I need someone who can maintain campaign quality, interpret performance properly, and make proactive recommendations that support long-term growth.

A key responsibility is campaign-level query and conversion analysis to preserve tight keyword heuristics and clean bidding signals. You should be able to identify intent leakage, weak thematic alignment, and conversion patterns that reduce signal quality or obscure campaign behaviour.

Strong English comprehension is essential, as the campaigns target English-speaking markets and require accurate intent classification, negative keyword refinement, and clear escalation of recurring mismatch patterns. You must be able to evaluate search intent, not just keyword overlap, and identify traffic that appears relevant on the surface but isn't.

You should be capable of diagnosing structural issues across campaigns, product grouping, and advertising categories. Our segmentation goes beyond normal site categories and is shaped by factors such as price band, product type, and commercial behaviour. The role requires someone who can recognise when campaign scope is too broad, when products are miscategorised, and when a category or campaign split is needed to preserve tight keyword heuristics & bidding signal clarity for campaign performance.

  • Experienced with Google Ads and Google Merchant Center.
  • Able to diagnose weak segmentation, and performance issues.
  • Strong English comprehension.
  • Bonus if your familiar with WooCommerce, but not a deal breaker.
  • Proactive to make recommendations and find opportunities.
  • Able to communicate the value of your work in writing.
