Multimedia AI Chatbot App Integration

I want to take the customer-support experience inside my existing iOS and Android app to the next level by embedding an AI-powered chatbot. You may work with either OpenAI’s ChatGPT or Google’s Gemini—whichever delivers the best balance of speed, cost, and accuracy—but the end result must feel fully native to my product.

Scope • Wire the selected LLM into my current backend so that users can ask XXXX XXXX receive rich, multimedia answers (text, links, images, short snippets, etc.). • Design the prompts, system messages, and fallback logic that keep replies concise, brand-appropriate, and safe. • Build any middleware needed for authentication, usage logging, and rate limiting. • Expose the chat interface through our existing screens on both mobile platforms without disrupting current UI flows.

Deliverables

• Working chatbot endpoint(s) ready for production
• Updated mobile builds demonstrating smooth, real-time multimedia responses
• Brief technical hand-off document (API keys redacted) covering setup, environment variables, and scaling notes
• One live walkthrough call to verify everything functions on TestFlight / internal track

Acceptance criteria The bot answers at least 95 % of the predefined FAQ set correctly, returns a response in under three seconds on a 4G connection, and gracefully downgrades to plain text if an image or rich object fails to load.
