Install Keypad Smart Lock

I have an old handle on my front door and I’m ready to replace it with a modern keypad-style smart lock. I need you to: • Remove the existing handle (I’ll take care of disposal once it’s off the door). • Assess the door’s cut-outs and strike plates on site to confirm if the new lock will fit or if a quick adjustment with a drill, chisel or mortiser is required. I’m not sure about compatibility, so please be prepared for light carpentry or alignment work. • Mount and program the new keypad lock so the door latches smoothly, the keypad lights up, codes can be entered, and all security features function as advertised. • Walk me through basic code setup and battery replacement before you leave.

You’ll need standard woodworking tools, screwdrivers, a level, and any specialty bits the lock brand recommends. Once done, I expect the door to close cleanly with no extra force and the keypad to accept new user codes without errors.
