Part-Time Video Editor Needed (College Student Preferred | YouTube & Reels Editing | Indore Preferred)

I am looking for a creative and passionate part-time video editor (preferably a college student) who can help me edit daily vlogs and short-form content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social media platforms.

Only applicants from India should apply, and preference will be given to candidates based in Indore.

I run a vlog channel where I post lifestyle, travel, and gym-related content. You will be given raw video clips, and your responsibility will be to turn them into engaging, professional-quality videos that are ready to publish.

The editing work includes clean cuts, smooth transitions, syncing clips with background music, adding cinematic effects, color correction, and maintaining proper pacing. You should also be able to add creative elements like animations, motion graphics, text overlays, subtitles, and sound effects to make the videos more engaging. Background music should be selected according to the mood of the video (for example: energetic for gym, calm for travel, emotional where needed). The first few seconds of the video should be highly engaging to retain audience attention.

You should also understand platform-specific formats — vertical (9:16) for reels/shorts and horizontal (16:9) for YouTube videos.

This is a long-term opportunity, and regular work will be provided if your editing quality is good.

You should be familiar with tools like Filmora, After Effects, CapCut, or similar software. Basic understanding of social media trends and audience engagement is important. Fast delivery (within 24–48 hours) and good communication are expected.
