I have a stack of printed documents that need to be converted into clean, editable text. Everything you’ll work with is text-only—no numerical tables or mixed media—so the focus is on accurate transcription and consistent formatting.
Most pages arrive as straightforward hard copies, but a portion has already been scanned and saved as PDF files. Whether you prefer direct typing or running OCR first and then proofreading, what matters to me is error-free, well-structured output.
Deliverables • A single, consolidated Word or Google Docs file (your choice) that mirrors the exact wording, paragraphs, and basic headings in the source pages. • A separate, line-numbered document listing any illegible words or uncertainties so I can review them quickly.
Acceptance Criteria • 100 % of pages transcribed. • Spelling and punctuation match the original unless an obvious typo exists. • No extra line breaks, blank pages, or hidden formatting codes.
