Environment Artist / 3D Artist — Sci-Fi Hockey Arena

We are looking for a talented Environment Artist / 3D Artist to create a stylized sci-fi hockey arena for a competitive top-down mobile game.

This is not a generic stadium task. We need an artist who can design and build an arena that works from multiple angles while staying fully consistent with our gameplay layout.

What we need

We are hiring for the full environment art package:

3D modeling Texturing / material work Lighting

The arena must feel clean, futuristic, readable, and visually strong, with a clear sci-fi identity.

Project context

The gameplay uses a top-down camera, so the arena must fit a strict playable field layout. At the same time, we want the environment to be strong enough to support additional camera angles for:

lobby presentation cinematic shots promotional renders future reusability across the project

This means the asset must not only work for gameplay readability, but also look convincing and polished from other viewpoints.

Visual direction

We will share a public sketch reference to communicate the overall idea.

Please note:

the public sketch is not the final production reference shortlisted candidates will be shown the real references and internal images privately final pricing can be discussed once the real scope and visual target are reviewed in private Scope of work

The selected artist will be expected to:

build the arena environment based on our concept direction match the arena to a predefined top-down field structure create a cohesive sci-fi visual language produce final textures/materials appropriate for the style create lighting that enhances the arena and supports presentation shots keep the asset modular and reusable where possible Ideal profile

We are looking for someone with experience in:

sci-fi environments stylized or polished competitive-game visuals arenas, stadiums, or architectural spaces building assets that must work from both gameplay and presentation cameras

A strong portfolio is essential.
