Convert DWG Plans to Revit
Description
Budget: €30 - €250
I have clean DWG files for a small two-room residential annex that now need to live in Revit. Your task XXXX XXXX bring those drawings in, adjust anything that is off, and hand back a single.rvt file that is tidy, well-structured and ready for dependable quantity take-offs.
Scope • Level of detail: Basic—focus on the overall layout, primary structural elements and accurate room volumes rather than fine finishes or furniture. • Elements required for scheduling: walls and partitions, doors and windows, plus floor and ceiling finishes. Each must sit on the correct category so Revit’s native schedules report square metres and counts without manual tweaks. • I will supply my own modelling standards (naming, view templates, material keys, etc.). Please follow them exactly so the file slots straight into our workflow.
Deliverables
- Revit 2023 (or later) model of the annex.
- Pre-populated schedules for areas, wall surface, door counts and finish take-offs showing that the categories have been set up correctly.
- A brief change log noting any assumptions or discrepancies you resolved while migrating from DWG.
The file should open cleanly—no unresolved warnings, duplicate levels, or unplaced rooms—and quantities must match the original DWG dimensions within normal Revit rounding. If this sounds straightforward for you, I’m ready to send the DWGs and our BIM guidelines so you can get started right away.
