Android Task XXXX XXXX Development -- 2

Budget: ₹600 - ₹1500

I want to bring a simple yet rock-solid productivity tool to life: a stand-alone Android app focused entirely on task management. The goal is to give users an uncluttered place to create, edit, prioritise, and complete tasks without needing any extra sign-ups or online services.

Here is what I need delivered: • An APK ready for Play-Store submission, plus the full, well-commented source code (Android Studio in Kotlin or Java is fine). • A clean, responsive UI that works smoothly from Android 8.0 up to the latest version. • Core features: add, delete, reorder, and mark tasks as done; assign due dates or simple reminders; quick search or filter by status. • All data stored locally so the app functions fully offline. • Basic settings page (dark/light mode and notification toggle). • Brief setup instructions so I can build and sign future releases myself.

Calendar integration or collaboration tools are not in scope right now, but I’d like the architecture kept modular enough to add them later.

I’ll test on a range of devices; acceptance is when the build installs cleanly, runs without crashes, and every listed feature behaves as expected. If you’ve shipped lightweight Android productivity apps before, this should be a straightforward, fun project.
