Realistic Colored-Pencil Portrait

Budget: $30 - $250

I would like a realistic portrait of my father-in-law executed entirely in colored pencils. I have a clear, high-resolution reference photo ready to send as soon as we begin, so you can capture his exact likeness, expression, and the subtle details that matter to the family.

Preferred medium • Professional-grade colored pencils on quality, acid-free paper (minimum A4 or comparable). • If you normally work larger, that’s fine; just let me know your standard size.

What I need in the end

1. The finished, fully colored original artwork.
2. A high-resolution scan (300 dpi or higher) so I can arrange prints for relatives without rescanning the piece.

Timing & communication Once you see the reference, please estimate how long you’ll need for a rough sketch, color layering, and final touches. I’m happy to review progress shots at key stages—initial sketch, midway color build-up, and near-final—so we can stay aligned.

Packaging & delivery If you are shipping the physical piece, please use sturdy, protective packaging to avoid smudging or bending; we’ll discuss postage costs separately. Digital delivery of the scan can be through Google Drive, Dropbox, or your preferred method.
